What's the view from Northview?

Internal task force team members have begun a dialogue with Northview PTSO, to provide us some more context with our "sister" IB program in the Iredell-Statesville school system.

Here is initial report:

"... spoke with the VP of the PTSO at Northview this week. Her name is Kisha Clark and she was very open and willing to work together. ... the parents there are not very organized at this point. I told her about our survey and she is taking the lead on getting a similar survey up and running for their student body. They have some very different issues than we do, .....  their 9th graders do not have options for extracurricular activities such as band at their home schools...a missing link to tying them to any one school, but also a lost opportunity for the kids. She said that some students came to IB to bypass East Middle School and fully intend to go to North Iredell HS for 9th grade. At this point, they don’t have any solid numbers or consensus...making the survey appealing to them as well. "
